This is the week to join Marie Greene & me for a Zoom chat about the Lemon Spritz tee, and everything #4DayKAL! Mark your calendar for Friday at 1pm, and we'll also share a replay link. Register here.
Please note: the shop will be CLOSED from 12:40p until just after 2p while the webinar is in progress.
The following day, we'll be celebrating Worldwide Knit In Public Day during our weekly Social Stitching time, 2p-4p. As is the case 100% of the time, your crochet projects are welcome here! We will plan to shift to the sidewalk, and right now, the weather forecast looks pretty promising. If you have a camp chair, bring it along, and we'll have some light snacks on hand.
Join us around the big table for a couple of hours of convivial stitching.
Register here, and join Ann & Marie for a lively chat about Yarn Folk's offerings for the Lemon Spritz 4-Day (cough, cough, July) KAL. Register at our Lemon Spritz page! (Note: the shop will be closed from 12:45-2:00 on the 9th while the Zoom is in progress.)
Weather permitting, we'll be moving Social Stitching out onto the sidewalk. Crocheting in public is also entirely welcome.
Join Yarn Folk for an preview of Berroco Fall '23 yarns and a report on what our current and prospective vendors had to tempt us with at the h+h Trade Show in Chicago. There's a small materials fee, and you can RSVP and register here.
Casting on? Join us. Lemon-y treats provided.
Open 8:30a-12:45p, and 2-5p
Mon-Tue 7a-3:30p (normal), Wed-Thu 9a-3:30p, Friday 9a-5p, Saturday 9a-4p
Tentatively: 9a-1p
There were a few rainbows that weren't ready to ship with our LYS Day order from our friends at Frabjous Fibers & Wonderland Yarns, but they arrived last week, and they were worth the wait!
We have three Colorbursts from Wonderland: An All Night Diner in the Middle of Nowhere, Blue Skies & Rainbows, and Rainy Day Rainbow. All on Queen of Hearts fingering--80% Merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon.
If you're searching for a great one skein pattern that would be perfect for these colorways, check out Dream In Color Designs' Field of Violets, PDX Kniterati's Starfall or Snowy Thistle Knits' Turn It to the Max. All are assigned pooling patterns perfectly suited to the Colorbursts.
It was so fun to watch the Knit or Crochet Every Day in May challenge entries roll in! We had 59 people complete the challenge. (I did, too, but for prize odds, I don't count!) As usual, Random.org picked our grand prize winner: congrats to Kerry S!
I also never get quite as much knitting done as I think I will when I'm traveling, but I *think* I'm still on track to finish the Lemon Spritz before zooming with Marie. Stay tuned, and tune in to find out!! Pictured above while waiting for our lunch order at the extremely yummy So Radish in Arvada, CO!
