Are you in the thick of it? I personally have a knitted gift that probably SHOULD be mailed by Wednesday, but it is not at all finished. And I'm thinking of making another, although that one calls for chunky yarn, and won't need to be sent anyplace.
This week, I'll be highlighting some gift ideas for stitchers on Yarn Folk's social media feeds.
Including:
Interchangeable Needle Sets (including some sets I have remaining at pre-tariff prices--I ordered deeper than I normally would to keep prices lower as long as I could manage)
Lumos Lights Winter Solstice is coming, but we are still in the Big Dark!
As always, we make every effort to get your packages on their way ASAP!

…new in the shop
We received a little restock of holiday Stitch Stoppers (yes, kind of late, but there were really some cute ones; what can I say??)
This week we are expecting a reorder of lotion bars from Hive & Holler--they should arrive tomorrow or Thursday. I usually don't announce things before they are in hand, but these are great stocking stuffers. Look for the available stock to be updated Wednesday morning, or Thursday if they are delayed. There are 12 scents on the way, so if you see many fewer than that, the update hasn't happened.
…to inspire
In case you were looking for a finishing technique that takes even longer than an i-cord bind off, allow me to suggest the double knit button band! Love the way it looks, but holy smokes, knitting 16 additional stitches for each and every row of the cardigan fronts and the back of the neck is NOT speedy! Worth it? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes. Would I complain just as much? Probably! I'd hoped to finish this project on Sunday, but I still have about a thousand stitches to work, plus the weaving in of ends and the blocking. Next week, fingers crossed!
Jaunty: I did enough decreases on this last week that it does actually feel like the rows are getting shorter. (Because they are.) I can't wait to see this done. The yarn is Lang Infinity.
Gift project: I need to get past the portion of the colorwork that is not a rhythmic repeat in order to be able to finish the easier bits in the car and on the bus. Miscellaneous oddments pulled out of my leftovers.
One Love: This is pretty straightforward, and is only a one skein project, after all, but it has been pushed aside. When Jaunty and Mosspath are complete, it will move back into the desk knitting position. I'm using Laine x Novita 4Ply in Earthy Olive.
Prospect Pullover: Pattern photo above. This is the carrot :) I get to start this once I have finished Mosspath, and the two gift knits. I'll be using Ultra Wool in Bear, a rich, dark brown.
