Progress Report
Project update: we don’t have a firm launch date, but as of this writing, there is a nearly complete site structure, and about 2,000 product variants have been added to the future shop, most with images, and they are connected to the point of sale system for near real time updates. Migrating past blog posts is a bit of a chore, so the plan is to move the most recent, with the rest available via the newsletter archive. The shopping cart architecture needs to be connected to the payment processor, and shipping parameters need to be established and connected, and once those tasks are complete, we’ll be able to test the system, and then make it available for 24/7 shopping.
Yarn Folk: here for you in person six days a week since 2013, and soon, online all the time!
Current open hours are Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm, and Saturdays, 9am-1pm. In-store shopping: mask covering nose and mouth required for the duration of your visit; two to four customers at a time; avoid any wait by scheduling at yarnfolk.com/scheduling. And we’re always open at yarnfolk.com/shop!

Yarn Folk is very pleased to welcome Wildstar Fibers to the shop. We have ten colors of Supernova Sock, a fine blend of 85% superwash merino and 15% nylon. Felix
Knitting on my Felix Pullover was largely confined to social knitting Zooms this week, since those images don’t attach themselves to online products independently! Still, something like 1/3 to 1/2 of the body below the underarms is complete, along with most of one sleeve. Remember, this straightforward and fast design is also available as a cardigan, and you can still examine yarn options here. (The existing limited online shop is still functional until the new one is ready.)
