There's nothing quite like a good German sock yarn for a fun-to-knit and durable pair of socks, and we received seven colorways from two different Lang Super Soxx collections this week. The top four striped socks are from the Capital Cities collection--Rome and Vienna in the top row, Lisbon and Madrid in the middle row. On the bottom row are Beauty, Happy, and Funny from the Happy Dots collection.
We've also got the November shipment from Apple Fiber Studio's Pretty Pretty Yarn club. This one is Winterberry, a rich, tonal magenta. So, well, PRETTY!!
Lanas is not a brand new yarn for Fall/Winter 2021, but it is such a solid staple--worsted weight, non-superwash wool in a beautiful range of solids and heathers--that it deserved it's own new collection. We were happy to jump on the chance to host a trunk show of the garments, we’re hopeful it will arrive today, and we’ll have the garments through November 8th.
Linden is an oversized, lacy worsted weight shawl (read: fashionable and socially acceptable blanket). Three balls of Lanas make this cozy wrap.
Rosewood is a classic v-neck cardigan combining cables and lace. The finished size range (36½-72½") is inclusive, and the sweater requires 4-8 balls.
Auberge is a top-down pullover with lace detail at the yoke and sleeve cuffs. Its size range is the same as Rosewoods, and it requires 4-10 balls of Lanas.
And last but not least, Chiltern is a two-color brioche set--cowl and fingerless mitts--that takes only one ball of each color to make the entire set.

Whike I was traveling, I did work a bit on Toni Lipsey's French Press Cardi, but most of my available stitching time was spent finishing Sock 1 of my Mondim Socks. I am wanting a new wearable pair of socks for the winter, so perhaps I’ll finish this one a little more quickly? 🤞🏻
