Thank you to everyone who signed up to help with the shop move next weekend, and also to all of you who have offered kind words and encouragement--that counts for a lot, too!
We are open regular hours this week, and Saturday will be our last day at 304 N Pearl. The online shop will be open during the week we're closed to resettle things. There's fun stuff planned for our grand re-opening event on the twelfth--I'll tell you more next week!

…new in the shop
So...you'll understand if we didn't receive a ton of new stuff last week, right? 😂
UPS *did* deliver a bunch of supplies for The Runner Stumbles 5K/10K, which Mr. Yarn Folk has been working with the Roslyn Running Club to bring back to Roslyn for July 6th. So if you're looking for a local 5K/10K to run or walk the day before Yarn Folk reopens, we've got you covered! You can find the event sign up here.

This does not look as exciting as it is! I initially tried to talk myself out of needing to paint, but when I started looking at all the small wall repairs--all perfectly normal--and compared that with my lack of the original paint, I decided to go for it. The downstairs will definitely be done before moving, and the upstairs will hopefully be complete before we open up again. The evening light is skewing this photo a little warmer than the walls really are. The color is White Flour, a nice winter white that plays nicely with the existing color (because there are a few things that are going to remain the same). Can't wait to see it as the backdrop for YARN!

Did I knit on Oban in Cooke Creek Sheep Co.'s Coopworth Natural? Yes. Much? No. Still, I'm a little more than halfway to the armhole shaping on the front, and I'm trying to knit at least a row or two every day.
