Fair Round-up & Sonatine Cowl Kits Yarn Folk

Our trip to the Kittitas County Fair this year was brief and focused, but I hope you'll enjoy a little of what we saw. (And big apologies to the Wool Show--I absolutely forgot to cross over into the 4H building!) I'm embedding the video above, but if the embed code doesn't play nice, you can also see it here.

…new in the shop

Our shop sample of the Sonatine Cowl is finished and blocked, and we have kits in five different color combinations. Best of all? Each kit will make two cowls if you reverse the main color and contrast color. It's a relaxing project, easy to wear, and it's magical to see how the garter stitch and lace combination block out in this silk and wool blend.

…to inspire

If you're on Berroco's email list, you'll have received an email highlighting a new free crochet pattern, Celosia, that features the brand-new Carousel--on its own, or held together with Aerial, for a soft halo.

I've started a Killer Queen Cowl, combining a skein of Making Tracks combined with two skeins of Lanas, and a Wullpullover in Lore. Early stages on both!
