We're starting a new tradition for months with five Saturdays--the fifth Saturday will be Stitch Marker Saturday. Your purchase, in person or online, will come with a set of six stitch markers on a theme, while supplies last. (We have both knit and crochet sets.) It's just a chance to express a little extra "thank you" a few times a year!
(*Cowboy Gnome has entered the chat.)
Bring your current project, and spend some time with others who really vibe on yarn! This week, we have an additional Social Stitching time from 6-8p on Wednesday, while the August Ellensburg Night Market is happening.

We had to wait for this yarn, but it's gorgeous, and we think you'll love it!
Tillie is a sport weight blend of Pima cotton and cupro--a silk-like fiber that is a reclaimed by-product from cotton processing. It's a chainette yarn, so it's lighter weight than cottons sometimes are, and it sports (see what I did there??) great yardage. We have a shop sample of Kassel, the crocheted wrap pictured above. It's generously sized, and has a wonderful feel. (You'll need three skeins.) Other designs from the Tillie design collection can be found here, and we also think it has lots of potential for bright and happy colored kid sweaters. (It's machine washable!) As an example, Pluto is a short-sleeved tee with a few stylish details that won't get lost in the marled dye work. Are you a subscriber to Berroco's newsletter? Today's edition is scheduled to feature Tillie! (To subscribe, scroll to the bottom of any page at Berroco.com.)
Knitter Betsy shared these fun pix of the #musseldoodle she made for one of her grandkids as a reminder of summertime fun at the lake! Meanwhile, I'm persisting with the idea of making mine with colorwork on both sides, and I'm just shy of half-way done.
Melanie Berg's One More Stripe will be a kit featured for the Have a Ball Fall Crawl. Progress is happening, but the rows are getting longer! This one is a fun knit. Two full size skeins of Amble for the main color, and six minis for the stripes.
