Woodland, Cat, & Dog Doodle Decks, ✨Rime✨, Bonus Social Stitching 6-8 on Wednesday!

Things are happening! Our new window vinyl may get installed soon after you receive this, several loads of things have been transferred to my office upstairs at the new building, we bought paint, and our tenants are allllmost moved out.

(Side note: Kittitas County Recovery Community Organization (KCRCO) is now Peers Rising, and they are now at 116 W Third with more room to put their mission--"to develop a recovery community with barrier free access to the recovery support, care, and resources needed to achieve long-term recovery, and the ability to become integral members of our community" into practice. You can learn more here, and I can't say enough positive things about how easy it has been to work with them to make big transitions!)

…mark your calendars

…new in the shop

Last week, we received Pacific Knit Co's NEW Woodland Doodle expansion deck, along with the Cats and Dogs expansion decks, and new Base Doodle Pattern Brochures. The brochures are full-color printed patterns that combine with ANY doodle deck--we have them for sock weight top-down socks, and dk weight fingerless mitts and a double brim beanie. Choose designs from just one deck, or mix and match!

We also got word about a week ago that Polka Dot Sheep was phasing out the Rime Base. While we don't carry LOTS of sparkles, the sparkles we carry are GOOD sparkles. We've had this base before, and it's just the right amount of sizzle to use on its own or to pair with a solid. We've got sixteen colors, a mix of solids and variegated, and you can find them here. They are wonderful! And sadly, when they are gone, they are gone. Help us celebrate one last hurrah with this fun yarn!

…to inspire

Your offers of help with the move have been so kind. In order to (hopefully) keep things (semi) orderly and respect helpers' time, I created a schedule at SignUp Genius. If you are interested and available, you can sign up at this link. We have snacks scheduled after each shift, and beverages will be available. I'll be doing my level best to keep this event as organized and frustration free as I can!  I've created specific jobs per time frame--of course there will be some flexibility, and of course Mark, Zay, and I will be on hand both days.

Oban in Cooke Creek Sheep Co.'s Coopworth Natural was my commencement knitting--appropriate, since Saturday was also Worldwide Knit In Public Day! Both sleeves are complete, and I'm now working on the front. This sweater is knit in pieces, which is honestly kind of convenient at this particular juncture--smaller and easier to put a couple of rows on in those increasingly rare spare moments.
