Too darn hot! Or—the return of indoor activities??
It's pretty warm out there. I hope you're staying cool--with at least a fan to keep you comfortable.
Beginning July 1st, masks will be optional for fully vaccinated shoppers at Yarn Folk. Those who are unvaccinated should continue to wear masks while in the shop. Additionally, as a courtesy, please consider wearing a mask regardless of your vaccination status when young children are present. They are available at no charge if you don't have one on your person.
I am fully vaccinated, but I am happy to wear a mask during your visit if it increases your comfort level. I'm likely to inquire, but please do not hesitate to ask. We've been in this together all along; let's keep striving for patience and kindness as we try to move forward.
Hand sanitizer and/or handwashing facilities are also still available.
Current open hours are Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm, and Saturdays, 9am-3pm. In-store shopping: mask covering nose and mouth required for the duration of your visit. We continue to be mindful about making it possible to maintain social distancing in the shop.

Skill Set is a new guide for beginning knitters from Modern Daily Knitting. It is a comprehensive guide to the basics, presented in nine lessons. I will be building Learn to Knit kits around this title, but it's available on its own in the meantime. There are also lots of new buttons in stock--many online, and more in the shop.
