While I didn't attend the h+h trade show this year, friends who were there passed along info, and in a bit, I will have a few samples, and suppliers will start previewing fall collections very soon. There are some new things coming from Malabrigo that we will all be excited about (and the wait for their fall ship dates will seem long!).
In the mean time, we will continue on with summertime knitting and crochet, and, oh, moving the entire store in about six weeks!
Bring your current project, and spend some time with others who really vibe on yarn!

It doesn't make for cute pictures, but I did top off the inventory of needles and notions in advance of some price increases that are taking effect soon. I can't put them off indefinitely, but doing a big order before they take effect allows me to extend the current pricing a while longer.
I also kept a few things from the Twice Sheared Sheep Trunk show, so those all have stand along product pages now, and you can see everything we have available here--a few things we already had stock of, and others are new additions.
One other thing to mention is that at least one of our distributors is seeing back orders from Eucalan, due to a supply chain issue for them. While we do have a few of the 16.9oz and 3.3 oz bottles on the shelves right now, I just wanted to remind you of our refill service, as we do have Grapefruit, Lavender, Unscented, and Wrapture available. You need to bring your empty large bottle (or an equivalent 16.9 oz bottle), and the cost is $13.50, vs. the regular price of $16.75 for the large bottles.
I'm a bit over half-way done with the Double Win Mosaic Shawl from LYS Day, and I decided to cast on a new project in the interest of a) having options and b) finishing a sweater in local wool (🙌) before Fair time. Thea Colman says this is her favorite, and since she is one of my favorites, I'm willing to give it a go! I originally had a different sweater in mind, but once I swatched the Cooke Creek Sheep Co. Coopworth, I decided the Oban Sweater was a better choice for my preferred gauge. PS, this is an actual sleeves-first pattern! I can follow the order of knitting for once!
