We've got a couple of schedule changes for this week only!
We're excited to celebrate summer with the Ellensburg Night Market, and we'll miss you on Saturday afternoon! I'll be in Easton with my son, cheering on our runner at the last aid station and the finish of the Cascade Crest 100. 👟🤞🏻🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️
Bring your current project, and spend some time with others who really vibe on yarn!

Choose your own adventure, and use the hashtag #YarnFolkChristmasInJuly on social media, or send finished or progress pics to me (ann@yarnfolk.com) and we'll do a photo round up at the end of July!

Trunk Show with Cerulean Orchid (Stickers) and Geektastic Fibers!
Rico Fashion Cotton Merino Lace is new to the shelves, and it is a strong option for lightweight summer items. The blend is 80% cotton and 20% merino, and the recommended gauge is a versatile 24 stitches per 4". It is a self-striping yarn with a subtle watercolor effect. A simple top like Enola would be a quick knit, and show off the patterning to nice effect, or the C Street Tank can be crocheted either flat or in the round. I wouldn't rule out a light summer scarf or wrap, either!
We also restocked Bamboo Pop Sock--we'd sold out of the self-striping! It's great any time for non-wool socks, but it's a fantastic choice for summer garments, and the small amount of elastic in the blend gives it just the right amount of bounce as you are knitting or crocheting. There is great free pattern support here.
You know that we've enjoyed having Cooke Creek Sheep yarn, bags, and more in the shop for awhile, and we have just added Rocky Roo-Bee Ranch yarn and wool pellets to the shop. And not only are they available in the shop, they are now available online as well! 🥳
Find all Cooke Creek Sheep Company products here, and Rocky Roo-Bee products here!
Working on a new Christmas stocking sample--this is the Squirrel from Woodland Stockings. The pattern offers the option of a bird, squirrel, rabbit, or deer, and the charts are all offered with a dark or light background color. I'm still working on the foot, but I did a casual mid-project steam block to demonstrate the power of blocking ⚡to even out stranded knitting. The yarn is Lore, in a traditional crimson (Sensitive) and Ivory (Logical) combination.
