Did I get your attention?

I've got some great stuff headed this way for fall, so we are clearing out some old friends to make way!

This week (August 3-9): Select yarns are starting out at 25% or 50% off, in the shop and online. Shop NOW for your best selection!

In the store, sale items will be located on the big table. On line, you can find them here and here.

All sales on clearance items are final, and winding services are not available. (You can find tips for winding yarn by hand here.)

Current open hours are Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm, and Saturdays, 9am-3pm.

In-store shopping: masks are recommended for all, and are REQUIRED for all unvaccinated guests over age 2. Thanks for your help in keeping my business open to the public!

Social Stitching via Zoom

Thursday, August 5th, 4:00-6:00pm OR open Zoom and enter 981-942-707 for the meeting ID

Reminder: we've consolidated to just one Zoom event for now, but if you'd like to share project photos, chat, or share KAL progress, we'd love for you to create an account at and participate in the community we're building there. No intent to be yet another social network, but it's an option for sharing that doesn't depend on any outside platform. You can find it here.

Berroco Tee Party

July 30 - August 31, 2021

See the July 30th edition of Berroco's KnitBits Newsletter for more details! Remember that if there is a yarn from Berroco or one of their partner brands, we can have it drop shipped to you, if it is something we don't carry. (Summer Sesame, Mantra Stonewash, or Chai would all be great choices for a tee, and are currently in stock.)

Speaking of Berroco's partner brands, we received another dozen colors of Lopi last week, and from August 6-16, we will have a trunk show of garments from Lopi Book #40. I will have a copy of the pattern book available, and will be taking preorders for it.yarnfolk dividing line (2).png

…to inspire

I must confess that I didn't actually know that synchronized diving was a thing, but how adorable is Tom Daley with his knitted pouch for his Olympic gold medal???

Weekend Not-Quite-Olympic Event: Sleeves

When you can't start any new projects until you finish the ones on the needles, issue yourself a challenge!! I'm about to add the sleeve detail  for Marie Greene's Fireworks (pattern here on Ravelry or here on Olive Knits) in Trendsetter New York, PLUS I finished the sleeves on Joji Locatelli's Understated (Ravelry link) in Berroco Summer Sesame. 12" needles all the way!!
