The bottom line here is that I will not have solid information by the time this posts on Tuesday. Things are going to be odd for a good while yet, and we will all have opportunities to practice grace, patience, and compassion going forward.

(While we continue to observe recommendations to limit travel to essential trips, I will continue to commute between Roslyn & Ellensburg with my spouse, and will continue to observe the admittedly odd hours of 7 am-3:30 pm M-F. Future hours will be nailed to this wall of jell-o at a later date. :) )

Skacel announced this week that we can accept pre-orders for Addi Rocket Squared Click Sets, expected August/September. Pictured is the standard set, which contains US 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 Standard/Long Rocket² [squared] 5” tips, 24", 32" and 40" pliable blue nylon cables with lifeline eyelets, addiGrips and an addiClick Connector in a new, royal blue addiClick case. A Short set is also available with the same size tips, only they are 4”, and also come with 16” and 20” cords. Both sets are $180, and can be pre-ordered with a 50% deposit.

Individual tips (compatible with other Addi Click sets) can also be pre-ordered—3.5mm-5mm tips are $18 each, 5.5mm-7mm tips are $21 each, and 8mm tips are $28.50.

Casapinka is reprising her Breathe & Hope shawl with Hug Shot, a pattern that will be offered for free with qualifying yarn purchase from June 5-7. Like Breathe & Hope, it is a two skein pattern, and it was designed to use similar yarn combos (solid + speckled/variegated). Sharon from Security* declared June 5-7 National Hug Your Pet Weekend, and this pattern offer celebrates Sharon’s inimitable role in Casapinka’s design work.
