WildStar Trunk Show FINAL TWO DAYS + Knit or Crochet Every Day in May + Katrinkles Stitch Markers of the Month

I just confirmed permission to keep the WildStar Fiber trunk show through Wednesday, so your opportunity to shop all of these happy-making colors is extended just a bit. Get thee to Yarn Folk!

An update on Knit or Crochet Every Day in May:

If you did not get a tracker in person on LYS Day or did not request one via our LYS Day page at yarnfolk.com but you DID knit or crochet Sunday AND Monday, and would like to continue, please respond to this email, and I will send you the PDF. Just mark each day once you've stitched a bit.

At the end of the month, if you have completed the challenge, either drop it off at Yarn Folk before June 5th, or email a photo of it to ann@yarnfolk.com.

Here is a recap of the rules.. They are simple:

Knit or crochet every day in May.
It doesn't have to be much--just a row, or even a stitch.
It doesn't have to be the same project--you can bounce around.
You don't have to finish anything.
Just nurture your habit. It's a good one.
It's the honor system. Be honorable.

On June 6, I will draw a winner from all completed entries. The prize? One interchangeable needle or hook set of your choice from the following:

Current open hours are Monday - Thursday, 7am-3:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 5pm and Saturdays, 9am-4pm.

...to anticipate

We are now participating in Katrinkle's Stitch Marker of the Month club, and we received the May goodies right before LYS Day! One of the nice things about the program is that it allows for add-ons of other items, so we restocked the Casting On Markers, added some Right Side/Wrong Side Progress Keepers, some Mistake Markers, and faux suede "Backside" tags.

We also had a Cocoknits restock, so all the stitch marker varieties are back in stock (and we added Opening Colorful Markers), along with Maker's Board.

…to inspire

We're expecting the garment trunk show for Hudson + West's Spring 2022 Collection at the end of the week--you can preview the collection here, and we should have them on hand from May 6-21. There are five pieces in Weld, and four in Forge, and as always, they are designed to be the kind of knits that you'll cherish for years.

...to stitch

I need to get stitching on my shop sample for Marie Greene's 4 Day KAL (scheduled to begin July 1--public details coming May 16th), but I'm keen to finish up my Stripes of Joy sweater by Tif Neilan, so on Sunday, I busted out the second sleeve, and transferred the body stitches from the Purl String they were on back to the needle. Wish me luck! I have a lot of knitting to get done in the next 13 days. Yikes!
