As a participating shop, Yarn Folk invites you to register for a Zoom with Marie on Wednesday, June 4th at 1pm. This is a totally free opportunity to learn more about this year's KAL design--register here.
We've put together some kits, and you can view those here, here, and here. Some of the Alb Lino / Footprints kits will show as sold out until we receive an order we're expecting today.
You can see the start of our store sample below--it's Alb Lino / Footprints / Amble Minis.
We teased this on Instagram, Facebook, and Bluesky but Marie will be visiting Yarn Folk in October! Maybe you need a new Olive Knits sweater to wear? 😊

…new in the shop
We mentioned a couple of weeks ago that we did a mini reset to feature our Washington vendors, and last week, shepherd Jami from Cooke Creek Sheep came by with some hand-dyed Coopworth, which is now in the system and ready to go! Find our Made in Washington items here.
…to inspire
Okay, when I saw this video, I was thoroughly charmed. I very much enjoy the curiosity that Hunter Hammersen brings to her design work, and I'd seen glimpses of what she was up to with this project, but the fact that it is even a little bit practical is very winning. You can find the pattern on Ravelry or at I Knit Tiny Nonsense (which is also where you can find Hunter's Patreon).
Since this photo was taken, I've knit more on the body, and divided for the sleeves. Still, you get a good sense of what I'm up to with my store sample of Astro Pop. All three of our kit options have some stripeyness for the upper yoke, and then solid below the zig zag detail. It's been very fun to knit, and I'm excited for the lace detailing at the sides--having a little zip to break up the stockinette is a nice touch!
