All the hard work by the superintendents and exhibitors make the Kittitas County Fair a fun time every year. You can find a slide show on the Yarn Folk YouTube channel here.
Bring your current project, and spend some time with others who really vibe on yarn! (Our next bonus evening will be in conjunction with the last summer night market, from 6-8 on September 19th.)

October 19
Trunk Show with Kim Dyes Yarn! Kim will be visiting in person from Virginia, and we can't wait to spend the day with her (and her gorgeous yarns)!
We have another new yarn in the shop that inspires me to think about CABLES. Berroco's Millstone Tweed is a wool/rayon/nylon blend that comes in an array of exceptional colors. I love a soft, tweedy yarn, and I love it even more when it has a bright and balanced palette.
Berroco's pattern collection for this yarn leans into cabling, and we have a sample of Graves, the cardigan pictured above, if you would like to see it in person.
In addition to Berroco's collection, I think that Thea Colman's Ghost In The Orchard vest would be spectacular in nearly any color, and if you would prefer a smaller project, Jared Flood's Skiff beanie is a favorite of ours.
I was hoping to start the second sample I'm making for he Have a Ball Fall Crawl, but I really have (JUST) One More Stripe! I'm not usually a monogamous crafter, but if you have a deadline, you have a deadline! Still not boring--but the rows are loooong now.
