We have a really fun trunk show in house through December 24 -- the Doodle Decks from Pacific Knit Co.! We have all of the Core and Expansion decks available (the core decks are $28, and the expansion decks are $24), plus a binder with all of the decks in it, so you can see which designs are in which decks, and seven squishy cowl samples to give you an idea of what your finished designs can look like!Ā
The physical cards allow you to experiment with how the motifs will look stacked on each other. Looking for a project other than a cowl? New to the Doodle Deck Ravelry Store are multi-size template patterns that let you customize with the micro-charts of your choosing.
The Core Decks are: Basic, Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer. The Expansion Decks are: Fantasy, Dino, Farm, Desert, Holiday 3, Valentines 2, Spellbound, Travel, Camping, Baking, Botanical, Arctic, Monster, Jungle, Haunted, Garden, Ocean 2, Seattle, Portland, and Rhinebeck.
We don't have the decks listed online, but if you would like to make a purchase or add a deck or two to another order, email or call, and we'll make that happen!
Bring your current project, and spend some time with others who really vibe on yarn! As we enter cold and flu season, please consider wearing a mask if you're feeling a little "off," or join usĀ just as soon as you're feeling better!

I remembered to take a class photo of this year's Elves & Gnomes before they got swapped! Forgot to remove one of my identifying tags, but š¤·
And here are the individual contributions, in GIF form:

I learned that the Bull's neck is very large. TheĀ Melded ScarfĀ in Millstone TweedĀ is approximately 6' long, so extrapolating from the photo above, the bull's neck is around four feet in circumference! (Who knew?) For anyone interested in making the four color version (the original uses two colors), I do have an addendum with the modifications available.
Carrying on with theĀ Mastiha cardiganĀ I completed the remaining front section, seamed the shoulders, and added the button band. One sleeve has been picked up from the armhole and is in progress. There are a number of ends that still need to be tucked in, but nearly all are in locations that make that easy to accomplish. I'm still urging you to give Seis Cabos a try if you haven't already! It's everything you expect from Malabrigo's high quality Merino wool, but the tight twist and lack of superwash processing give the fabric lots of integrity.Ā
