ARE YOU READY FOR A TRUNK SHOW?? 🙌🏻
This is the week! We've had this on the calendar for months, and Saturday is the day! Cerulean Orchid will be here with LOTS of stickers, enamel pins, and project bags, and Geektastic Fibers is bringing self-striping and tonal yarns on a variety of bases, from sock weight to worsted.
There's one small hiccup, and that is that due to this year's expansion of Hoedown in the Downtown, Pearl Street will be closed from Third Ave to Fifth Ave from 5a-2p on Saturday (and Fourth Ave to Fifth Ave will remain closed until midnight). We love our downtown events, but it gets tricky when an event and the Farmers Market are happening at the same time! Free parking is never too far away, thank goodness, and the downtown parking map can be found here.
We're excited to see you on Saturday, and thanks in advance for making a little extra effort!

We have new Emma Ball merchandise in the shop! When we introduced this fun line earlier this spring, it sold out quickly, and we've just received a restock mostly comprised of fresh designs--stitch markers & tins, jigsaw puzzles, bags, mugs, and coasters, all featuring the charming watercolor sheep and stitching illustrations you love. Find all the options here.
Also ready for you this week are kits for the Painting With Beads scarf. We have four options, with either brightly colored or moody metallic glass seed beads. The kits include the pattern, fingering weight yarn + coordinating mohair to be held together, Miyuki glass seed beads and two superfloss threaders you can use to place the beads. (We also have Beadle Needles if you prefer a more substantial tool.) It's a fun project, and you'll finish with a unique accessory!

I've spent most of my knitting time this week working on a Melanie Berg pattern for the Have a Ball Fall Crawl. Details to come, but I'll just note here that The Fibre Co. Amble is a dream to knit with, and I love the palette I selected for this six color project. (The Amble Minis are perfect for this!)
