The stitch pattern of The Traveler Cowl by Andrea Mowry lends itself beautifully to a relaxing knit, but its unique construction makes it fun to knit again and again! This cowl is worked flat on the bias, and then seamed. You begin by increasing on both edges, then only one, and finally decreasing on one edge to create this unique shape!
Our sample is worked in a casual color blocking scheme with Malabrigo Yarn's new Torzal. Andrea designed this pattern to show off handspun yarns, and Torzal combines the look of handspun with Malabrigo's signature soft Merino and vibrant colors. Three skeins is enough to make up to the largest size using the sport weight gauge.
