Dittany is a simple shawl worked sideways featuring a textured border. Its shallow crescent shape allows the knitter to adjust length and depth while using any amount of yarn available.
It starts with the tip of the border, made of slipped stitches, garter, half brioche rib and simple cables. Once the border is fully set, increases slowly create a stockinette section to make the main body of the shawl, until the desired depth is reached. The shawl is then worked straight for a while until decreases shape it back to a point.
