The Brick (knit) and Mortar (crochet) cowls are Berroco's salute to local yarn stores! The pattern uses Berroco Ultra Alpaca (always available by drop ship!) but we knit a sample of Brick in Topaz (color Renaissance 1216), and it's fabulous! For Mortar, try two skeins of Ultra Wool as a great substitute for Ultra Alpaca.
