Welcome to Yarn Folk's Virtual 12th Anniversary Celebration!

It's our 12th shop anniversary, and there are DOZENS of ways we love our customers!

Here's a guide to what we've curated for you this year:

Our "Ellensburg Blue" from Kim Dyes Yarn was a smash hit last year--so much so that when Kim came for a trunk show in October, we asked her to bring another batch. (As I write this, there is ONE skein of the DK left.)

Fast forward to a customer commenting that she really wished I had the color in a fingering weight. I barely let her leave before I fired off an email to Kim, and here are the results of that brilliant idea: Ellensburg Blue on Flan (single ply, 438 yds / 100g, 70% superwash single ply Merino wool/ 30% silk) and on Napoleon Sock (plied, 400 yds / 100g, 80% superwash Merino wool/ 20% silk). Find them both here.

Last year, we featured custom Lemonwood Mini Minders with the design from the Old Heat smokestack on CWU's campus (still available here). This year, I have an Old Heat hat design--I converted the offset brick pattern for colorwork knitting, and asked Aimee from Polka Dot Sheep to help with kits. Find those here.

When I had Yarn Folk totes made for the Have a Ball Fall Crawl, I asked First Impressions Printing to do a test run of Yarn Folk hoodies. You may have spotted me wearing mine from time to time, and from today through April 16th, we are taking PRE-ORDERS, which we are hoping to have back by LYS Day (April 26th). This style is slightly lighter weight, but still cozy, and we have six colors to choose from, with sizing from XS to 4XL. And I've been happy with how they wash up! You can order in the shop (and we have sample sizes for the M, L, and XL sizes for you to see) or online. In either case, you can choose to pick up, or have them shipped to you.

Last, but most definitely not least, we have a special collection of organizers and project bags from Five to Six Organized Knits. Molly turned us loose in her fabric supplier's catalog, and we chose three prints for her DPN, crochet hook, and interchangeable tip organizers, plus small and large project bags. They are perfection, as always.

Finally, we're also doing a drawing for a $60 (multiple of 12!) gift card.  Enter to win by signing up for our email list (or confirming your address) in person, or email ann@yarnfolk.com with the subject line DOOR PRIZE ENTRY. You may enter in person or online, but not both. You get an extra entry for making a purchase either in person or online.

Goodie bags and Girl Scout cookies return this year, too. In the shop and online, we have small gifts with your purchase of $25 or more. The theme is "things that come in dozens" 😁

Whether you're able to join us in person, or here virtually, thank you for being part of Yarn Folk's anniversary celebrations! Fiber friends ARE the best friends!
