Olive Knits 4 Day KAL 2022 -- Sailaway
Are you ready to add a new sweater to your wardrobe in just about a week? Join Olive Knits for the 6th Annual Olive Knits 4 Day KAL! Yarn Folk is delighted to be a Featured Vendor this year.
- Sailaway is a three color circular yoke cardigan, knit from the top down, with options to use either DK or worsted weight yarn.
- Pattern pre-order (with swatching details) begins Thursday, May 26th at Olive Knits and on Ravelry. The pattern will be offered at a discounted price until June 6.
- Full pattern release is July 1. Do you have to knit your sweater in four days? HECK NO. There will be KAL giveaways and online events throughout the month of July.

DK Weight – Gauge = 21 stitches in 4 in/10 cm
Bust: 32.74 (37.69, 41.5, 46.45, 49.12, 53.69, 59.4, 62.07, 65.12) in
Worsted Weight – Gauge = 20 stitches in 4 in/10 cm
Bust: 34.3 (39.5, 43.5, 48.7, 51.5, 56.3, 62.3, 65.1, 68.3) in
Our shop sample was a joy to knit with BC Garn Loch Lomond, using the DK gauge.
Using Loch Lomond, you'll need 6 (7, 7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12) skeins of your MC, and 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2) skeins of each of two CCs.
Berroco Lanas and Berroco Ultra Wool
We also recommend Berroco Lanas (non-superwash) or Berroco Ultra Wool (superwash) knit at the Worsted Weight gauge. You'll need 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 9) skeins of your MC, and 1 skein each of your two CCs.
Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok (non-superwash) knits at *either* gauge. You'll need 8 (9, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16) 50g skeins OR 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6) 150g skeins of your MC and 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2) 50g skeins of each of your two CCs.
